ChatGPT: unlimited text, not unlimited everything
On August 6, 2026, OpenAI made GPT-5.6 Luna the default model for Free and Go users and announced that, starting the following week, those users would get unlimited text chats plus a new Think button for harder questions, per OpenAI's own post.
